Google just introduced a new standard for casting your music from a mobile device to a speaker. All you have to do is press a button on a device running iOS, OS X, Chrome OS, Android or Windows and the sound will go to the speaker.
There are some footnotes, worth mentioning: this only works with iOS 7.0 or newer when it comes to iPhone or iPad and you have to buy a speaker that supports Google Casts. So far, only Sony, Denon and LG have released devices.
In other words, you have to spend extra money for that. Why would you? Isn’t a Bluetooth speaker enough?
