Window Tidy – get your Mac Windows organized

This is a must-have app for OS X. If you’re anything like me, you have at least 5 – 8 windows from different apps open in the same time. Sure you can hide some of them, but when you need 2 or more to be nicely organized so you can actually use them simultaneously that’s when it gets annoying.

Windows Tidy is a $11 app for your Mac that sends each window to the desired position just by dragging and dropping it to a HUD. I love the interface, but most of all I love the fact that you have so many options and you can customize it the way you want right in the second when you need to move that window. And it is faster than any manual resize on your Mac.

“Window Tidy” works with any Mac computer that runs on Snow Leopard or Lion. You can invoke the HUD by clicking on a link in the MenuBar icon or by hitting a shortcut key. I like the default “option” key because it’s always right there, to the right of my trackpad.
