I gotta say, I’m not a user of Microsoft’s OneNote, but I can appreciate a good looking iPad app when I see it.
Outline+ was designed to work with OneNote file formats. You can read and write rich text notes. So if you use OneNote for business or daily personal stuff that’s something you could really use on your iPad.
On the other hand, the app has a built-in sync option. Whether you choose SkyDrive, Dropbox or Box you’ll be abel to see and access your notes everywhere. You can also sync your notes to your computer via USB or a WiFi network. It’s the kind of app that Microsoft should’ve developed a long time ago.
The good thing about it is that you can also use Outline+ as a stand alone app and have all you notes in there. It is a more complex, elegant solution for an everything drawer. The app is $14.99 and it requires and iPad running iOS 5.0 or newer. There are no monthly fees for cloud syncing and you can add an unlimited amount of notes.
Here’s a short video presentation.
