If you think that the developer copied this idea from Apple’s “Reminders” app, well… think again. Not only it was released before Steve Jobs’ Keynote at WWDC, but it has more functionality.
GPSReminder 2 does exactly what you would think it does – alerts become available only when you’re in a certain area. The idea is simple: why would you wanna see 30 reminders about stuff you need to do at the office or school when you’re nowhere near them?
In GPSReminder you can set labels and categories and the app runs in the background. You can see the maps in Satellite, Map or Hybrid modes and see your location in reference to the ones that you’ve set for the reminders.
